Founder's Bio
I have lived the evolution of brand marketing over three decades, as well as pioneered several creative and innovative production techniques. For the past twenty-four years, I have worked as President and Creative Director for Train of Thought Marketing, Inc., located in Cary, NC; a company I founded in 1994 and grew to a multimillion-dollar marketing firm, employing a team of 36 talented marketing specialist. I built and led a team of videographers, 3D animators, motion graphic specialists, graphic designers, programmers, application developers, creative and technical copywriters, scriptwriters, quality control teams, IT specialist, sales teams, bookkeepers, and financial services. My focus has been bringing retail products and services to market, through consumer and retailer e-learning assets, promotional materials, and product packaging. I have worked with leading global clients such as Whirlpool, Maytag, LG, ZTE, IBM, Glaxo, Cricket Wireless, AT&T Wireless, Verizon, TMobile, DHL, ABB, Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, Acacia Communication, and others. Before starting my own company, I worked as Art Director and Designer of Business North Carolina magazine. I also developed a multimillion-dollar state-of-the-art electronic prepress department for PBM Graphics, as well as consulted for IBM and GSK to build their internal creative departments, including hardware, software, and training requirements.

I have over 30 years of software experience, starting with Aldus Pagemaker 1986, Adobe Illustrator 1.6, and QuarkXpress in 1987, followed by Photoshop 1.0 in 1990. I’ve got expert-level proficiency in all major Adobe applications since 1987, including motion graphic, video, and audio software. I’ve worked on various OS & platforms, Windows, Apple, Next, Sytex, Android, Apache, OSI, with Apple being my favorite. My first “bite of the Apple” was a Macintosh Plus in 1986, and I’ve lived on it ever since, enjoying every morsel.
